The nature of Tibetan mastiff is different from
other dogs, because they are still a kind of original species. As

mastiffs maturate slowly, female ones between 3-4 years and the male dogs
between 4-5 years old.
Every dog has his own nature, but generally speaking, they are the kind
with strong will, braveness, having a strong protective instinct to home
and family. They can adapt well to different living types. They don't get
near to strangers, and they
have high intelligence and super-strong memory, once introduced to

in size, really need enough space to play and exercise. However, although
they are a kind of dogs that is very active outdoors, but in the house,
they are usually very peaceful, because for centuries, they have been bred
as sheep, cattle and the guards of home. People should consider whether to
let Tibetan mastiffs sleep in the house in evening or outdoor.
The point to be emphasized is that Tibetan mastiffs
are a species with strong will, ao let them have appropriate social
intercourse with other persons and animal, and give them some training,
will help the dogs and feeder enjoy more about life. It is well known that
Tibetan mastiffs will bite, chew and dig, and chewing is the habit of each
puppy with most species, and in their tusk period, chewing( biting things)
can be adjusted to doing no harms. The feeder can give some safe and
innocuous things to chew, and dig. If you have appropriate places, let
them dig! As mentioned above, this is a species with high intelligence,
and the ability to adapt to various living styles, and a kind
that can make self-decision for
quite a few thousand years.
Tibetan mastiffs are born to be the
kind of guards to be kept to prevent domestic animals from being invaded.
Their sharp natural instinct make them the excellent homeguards; they have
patience to kids, They really own the very beautiful sight in display
wreath, and they can be educated to be obedient. Just because they are
intelligent and independent, so they are not be compared with the
easily-trained disciplinal species; they are apathetic and independent,
